One of the things to always remember about a logo is that it is meant to be utilized in many applications on various materials. Some elements on this logo are good at the size displayed, but logos most commonly appear at 1 inch by 1 inch, and at that size the white stroke on your figures will disappear and detail in the windows of the dome will muddy together and lose definition.

Also, the type will become increasingly harder the read the smaller it gets. Plus, the descenders in the orange type are set against an orange/yellow background which is already hindering readability.

The overall concept is visualized in a pretty ubiquitous way. The "figures holding hands with raised arms" is a convention that is grossly over-used in logo design. I'm sure with some more thought you could think of an even more unique way to get the idea you're going for across.

The dome could be simplified and given more contrast and a stronger focal point. I'm assuming a photo of a mosque dome was ran through Live Trace. You don't need that filter, and to anyone who designs for a living it's obvious when that tool is used and a big indicator of the experience and skill of the designer.

I probably sounds pretty harsh, but it really is out of love. I don't claim to be perfect, and the only way we grow as designers is by surrounding ourselves with people who don't pull any punches with their opinions of our work.
